Effect of local architectural acoustics on dyadic conversations over short distances

We are trying to understand how people’s voice changes in response to room reflections. Hence, this experiment involves two people talking to each other in various settings in a room.

You will be talking to another person who may or may not be familiar to you. To facilitate conversations, you will either be given a set of topics or a puzzle to solve. Your voice will be recorded during these conversations, and you will be asked to complete a short questionnaire.

The 2-hour session takes place in the Anechoic Chamber at the School of Architecture, Design and Planning, and includes recorded conversations and a short questionnaire. You will receive remuneration for your time.
