Award requirements

Bachelor of Veterinary Biology and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine

Students must complete 288 credit points and 48 credit points every year
(1) 66 credit points of Year 1 and Year 2 core units of study, comprising:

(a) 36 credit points of 1000 level core units of study

(b) 30 credit points of 2000 level core units of study

(2) 30 credit points from the Science Table A or Bachelor of Animal and Veterinary Bioscience units of study table, comprising:

(a) 12 credit points of 1000-level units of study

(b) 18 credit points of 2000-level units of study

(3) 48 credit points from the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine unit of study table for Year 1, that contributes to Year 3 of the Bachelor of Veterinary Biology degree
(4) 144 credit points from the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine unit of study table for Years 2, 3 and 4
(5) Extramural placements as outlined in the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine unit of study table
