When submitting an application, please select 'Grief or bereavement' as the reason you are applying and documentation will not be required.

If you've been approved for special consideration or special arrangements for an exam you couldn't sit, you may be allocated a replacement exam. For example, you may have:
Sitting a replacement exam may delay certain aspects of your course, such as changing when you receive your results or how you re-enrol or graduate. Read through our information about applying for special consideration or arrangements.
In-semester replacement tests are managed by your faculty or school and are usually scheduled in Week 10 and Week 11. Your unit coordinator, or faculty or school staff, will communicate with you about scheduling these replacement tests.
There are two replacement exam periods for the main Semester 2, 2025 exam period.
Each intensive period has its own exam week and consequently also its own replacement exam periods. Find out more information about when intensive exams are held.
If illness or misadventure prevents you from attending, or affects your performance, in a replacement test or exam then you can re-apply for further special consideration.
