The ATAR entry requirement for all streams and Flexible First Year (FFY) programs is currently the same, so if you take part in the FFY program you'll still be guaranteed a place in second year in your chosen stream or degree, with the exception of Space Engineering.

Moving to Space Engineering with MECH/MTRX/AERO streams requires an ATAR of 99.00 or equivalent. If you want to do Space Engineering and are eligible, select the appropriate stream below. Your eligibility will be checked and, if you meet the requirements, you will be transferred to Space Engineering. If you aren’t eligible you will be transferred to the standard MECH/MTRX/AERO stream you selected.

If you're changing from a single to a combined degree you will need to complete an internal course application.

After we have transferred you to your declared discipline, we will email you with information on changing your units of study to get you on the right pathway for your chosen stream. If you have already selected your units for Semester 2, these will be transferred to your new stream.
