Through the Student Experience Innovation Grants program, students in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences have the opportunity to access up to $2,500 of funding and partner with student leaders and university staff to make their project idea a reality.

In previous years, the Student Experience Innovation Grants program funded and developed student-led projects like World Cup Night, Law Reform Project, Language Buddies, the Therapaws: Dog therapy program, Sculpture by the Sea Coastal Walk, Australian Sporting Experience, World Mental Health Festival, Taronga Zoo Safari and more.The selection of the grant recipients will be undertaken by a Student Experience Innovation Grants Committee, comprised of nominated University of Sydney staff and student members.
2024 grants have been awarded to five projects. Log in to Canvas to see the finalists and participate in the Student Experiences in Semester 2, 2024.
Student Experience Innovation Grant applications are now open for Semester 1, 2025.
Start your application by submitting an Expression of Interest. Expressions of Interest close 9 am, Friday 13 December, 2024.
You will then have the opportunity to discuss and refine your project with the Student Affairs and Engagement Team to create your Project Proposal. The Project Proposal is the official document that will be assessed by the Grant Committee.
