Sunny Manon – Bachelor of Pharmacy and Management

Why I chose pharmacy and management

I love that the healthcare industry allows for a hands-on approach by managing and helping people. I was able to do some work experience in pharmacy and was able to see the important role that management plays in healthcare. Since then, I have always wanted to pursue it as a career.

A typical day

No day is the same. Some days we are in the lab and others are spent in the classroom. Grabbing a coffee with friends between classes is always good too.

What surprised me about my degree

How well the pharmacy and management subjects go hand in hand. With such an active and social faculty and student body, I was also surprised about how many opportunities there were to participate outside the classroom.

My career goals

I would love to be a directing manager in a hospital pharmacy and hopefully manage my own pharmacy one day.

My advice

Seriously, just go for it. You won't regret it. There are so many pathways with the degree and time on campus are some of the best days of your life.
