The Tibetan language is an essential medium for understanding Buddhism and Asian history. This unit is based on Intro to Tibetan Language and Culture 1, focussing on literary Tibetan and deepening skills in spoken Tibetan. We will expand our grammatical competency, read short stories, train speaking and understanding, and learn important aspects of Himalayan cultures and religions.
