Students will continue to critically appraise the research evidence and assess their applicability in clinical practice. Students will develop written summaries of evidence (critically appraised topics (CAT) summaries) addressing a focused clinical questions raised during clinical practice. Students will continue to apply Evidence Based Dentistry principles based on clinical scenarios to inform treatment planning decisions. At the completion of this unit of study, students will submit their final research project report (literature reviews), or submit a research poster and deliver an oral presentation (experimental/original research). Students may be required to attend classes at multiple locations.
