What is Innowell?

Innowell is a platform designed to give you 24/7 on demand access to tools that assist in self-management of mental wellbeing and health, and provide information about how to seek help as needed. It can be accessed as both an app and website. Innowell has been designed by mental health experts, including Ian Hickie of the Brain and Mind Centre, with approaches and techniques that have been validated with research published in academic journals. You can find out more on the Innowell website.

Once you’ve completed a self-assessment, you’ll receive a personalised wellbeing plan that includes activities and content to help improve your mental and physical fitness, and meet your personal wellbeing goals. Find out more about Innowell on their FAQ’s page.

How to access Innowell

After you've enrolled, you’ll receive an email from Innowell at your University email account. The email will have the subject line ‘Welcome to Innowell - Your mental health advantage’. If you have received two emails, use the most recent email link to register.

  1. Launch Innowell using the unique link in your email. This link will expire in 21 days. If you can’t find the email, check your spam folder. You can also register an account at individual.innowell.org by selecting 'Find your account' and entering your University email address.
  2. Once you create a profile, you’ll be able to access Innowell using this generic link every time after that.
  3. Complete the self assessment which is completely anonymous (takes only five minutes). Your individual results are for your eyes only, unless you choose to share them with someone you trust.
  4. You’ll then receive a personalised wellbeing plan that includes content and activities backed by clinical research. You can also track your progress over time by retaking the self assessment whenever you like.

Innowell is a web platform and accessible world-wide, unless you are in a country where Australian websites are not accessible. If you are in China and require a VPN, find out more about setting up a VPN.
