First Teaching Area |

| A first teaching area in Ancient History requires completion of a major or a minor from the Ancient History table of units of study. |
| Students must complete as part of, or in addition to, the major or minor, 6 credit points of ARCO-coded units and 6 credit points of HSTY-coded units. |
Second Teaching Area |
| A second teaching area in Ancient History requires 24 credit points from the Ancient History table of units of study, comprising: |
| (i) a maximum of 12 credit points at 1000 level and a minimum of 12 credit points at 2000 or 3000 level units of study, of which |
(a) 12 credit points in ANHS-coded units of study |
(b) 6 credit points in ARCO-coded unit of study |
(c) 6 credit points in HSTY-coded unit of study |
| Ancient History cannot be taken in conjunction with Modern History as your other teaching area. |
