| Second Teaching Area |

| A second teaching area in Modern History requires 24 credit points from the History table of units of study, comprising: |
| (i) a maximum of 12 credit points in 1000 level and a minimum of 12 credit points in 2000 or 3000 level units of study, of which |
| (a) 6 credit points in ANHS-coded units of study |
| (b) 18 credit points in HSTY coded units, of which |
| (1) at least 6 credit points must be in unit(s) identified as Australian history. |
| Modern History cannot be taken in conjunction with Ancient History as your other teaching area. |
