| Second Teaching Area |

| A second teaching area in Chemistry requires 24 credit points from the Chemistry table of units of study, comprising: |
| (i) a maximum of 12 credit points in 1000 level units of study in Chemistry |
| (ii) a minimum of 12 credit points in 2000 or 3000 level units of study in Chemistry |
| Available as a second teaching area of 24 credit points only if the first teaching area is Biology or Physics, otherwise completion of a minor is required for accreditation in Chemistry as a second teaching area. |
