| Second Teaching Area |

| A second teaching area in Chinese requires 24 credit points of language units from the Chinese Studies table of units of study, comprising |
| (i) a maximum of 12 credit points in 2000 level units of study in Chinese |
| (ii) a minimum of 12 credit points in 3000 level units of study in Chinese |
| If commencing at an introductory level in Chinese, a minor in Chinese Studies must be completed for accreditation in Chinese as a second teaching area. |
