| Second Teaching Area |

| A second teaching area in Spanish requires 24 credit points of language units from the Spanish and Latin American Studies table of units of study, comprising: |
| (i) a maximum of 12 credit points in 2000 level units of study in Spanish |
| (ii) a minimum of 12 credit points in 3000 level units of study in Spanish |
| If commencing at an introductory level in Spanish, a minor in Spanish and Latin American Studies can be completed for accreditation in Spanish as a second teaching area. |
