Teaching area rules

First Teaching Area
A first teaching area in Modern Hebrew requires completion of a major or a minor from the Hebrew (Modern) table of units of study.
Second Teaching Area
A second teaching area in Modern Hebrew requires 24 credit points of language units from theĀ Hebrew (Modern) table of units of study, comprising:
(i) a maximum of 12 credit points in 2000 level units of study in Modern Hebrew
(ii) a minimum of 12 credit points in 3000 level units of study in Modern Hebrew
If commencing at an introductory level in Modern Hebrew, a minor in Hebrew (Modern) must be completed for accreditation in Modern Hebrew as a second teaching area.
For eligible units, please consult the tables of units of study for the subject areas of Hebrew (Modern) (Intermediate) and Hebrew (Modern) (Advanced) in this handbook. Availability of these units is subject to change.
