Teaching area rules

First Teaching Area
A first teaching area in Modern Greek requires completion of a major or a minor from the Modern Greek Studies table of units of study. 
Second Teaching Area
A second teaching area in Modern Greek requires 24 credit points of language units from the Modern Greek Studies table of units of study, comprising: 
(i) a maximum of 12 credit points in 2000 level units of study in Modern Greek 
(ii) a minimum of 12 credit points in 3000 level units of study in Modern Greek
If commencing at an introductory level in Modern Greek, a minor in Modern Greek Studies must be completed for accreditation in Modern Greek as a second teaching area. 
For eligible units, please consult the tables of units of study for the subject areas of Modern Greek Studies (Intermediate) and Modern Greek Studies (Advanced) in this handbook. Availability of these units is subject to change.
