| Second Teaching Area |

| A second teaching area in Italian requires 24 credit points of language units from the Italian Studies table of units of study, comprising: |
| (i) a maximum of 12 credit points in 2000 level units of study in Italian |
| (ii) a minimum of 12 credit points in 3000 level units of study in Italian |
| If commencing at an introductory level in Italian, a minor in Italian Studies must be completed for accreditation in Italian as a second teaching area. |
