| Second Teaching Area |

| A second teaching area in Arabic requires 24 credit points of language units from the Arabic Language and Cultures table of units of study, comprising: |
| (i) a maximum of 12 credit points in 2000 level units of study in Arabic |
| (ii) a minimum of 12 credit points in 3000 level units of study in Arabic |
| If commencing at an introductory level in Arabic, a minor in Arabic and Language Cultures must be completed for accreditation in Arabic as a second teaching area. |
